What is a radio remote control?

Radio remote control is used to control any type of machinery or equipment with the help of radio waves. It is a small, handheld device that is used for controlling another device. Some radio remote operates via infrared waves and some used radiofrequency.

An industrial radio remote control that uses radio frequency waves to control heavy cranes is called an industrial crane remote control system. Radio remote is used in EOT cranes, hoist cranes, overhead cranes, etc.

Types of radio remote control for cranes-

Now, we will see the types of radio remote control

The remote control device has two units, transmitter, and receiver. Anand systems design the 8-button radio remote control for overhead crane, 12 button radio remote control, Joystick radio remote control. Anand transmitter device is designed to transmit the data signal for controlling any type of crane.

Anand 8 button transmitter is a handheld, can have up to 3 motions. It can cross travel and long travel. The speed of this type of device is single and dual.

Anand 12 button is powerful and it can have up to 4 motions. It can cross and long travel, available in single and dual-speed.

Joystick remote control for industrial crane and any kind of machinery. Features of joystick remote are it has 5 steps per direction, rechargeable batteries, waist strap, and ergonomic shoulder. We are the customized radio remote control manufacturers in India.

Let see about the radio receiver

The receiver picks up the data from the transmitter and decodes it. This decrypted data is assigned to relay to activate the desired switch of the crane control panel. Anand receivers use the RF (Radio Frequency) technology and are compatible with Anand 8 button and 12 button transmitters. Anand receivers can be completely configured according to the customer’s specification. It's available in the small and big receivers.

How does crane wireless remote control works?

As we know, the crane radio remote control has a transmitter and receiver unit. The transmitter is a portable and handheld device. Every push button present on the remote control creates a combination of signals for the crane receiver.

The transmitter encodes this signal then transmits the encrypted data to the receiver. A receiver receives this data and decodes it and switches on an assigned relay. This assign relay activates the desired switch on the eot crane control panel. This communication happens more than 10 times in a second.

The transmitter of the radio remote control can continuously check different parameters of the communication link like signal strength, no. of successful transmission, missed data packets, etc. Anand radio remote uses the use automatic frequency hopping technique to avoid any interference from other radio signals and increase the safety of the wireless remote control crane.
